Griffin points out that in addition to good products, the equipment rental operator must provide outstanding customer service. "It is imperative that you present your customer not only with the right equipment, but that you offer him the correct amount of service to go along with it. This includes making your store and its personnel available to your customer with timely rental, sales, information and instruction when it is convenient to him. In other words, don't make rental or sales calls when he is up to his elbows in alligators. Ask in advance when it would be convenient to meet with him, but be there when he needs that help," Griffin said.
"Going hand in glove with location is accessibility," Griffin continued. "The astute independent rental house owner will find a site for his business that is easy to get to and from. Ideally, this means at the uncrowded junction of one or more interstate highways. In so doing you establish your business where your transport equipment can make timely deliveries and retrievals without undue traffic bottlenecks and delays." |

Griffin added that location is another concern. "Locate your store and shop where it is suitable to your customer," he advised. "He, too, is a busy man. Try your level best not to force him to go out of his way to find your place of business. Appropriate signage is important. Let people know who and where you are."

With their compact design, the new BW124-40 series rollers are versatile and maneuverable, yet offer capabilities and features similar to larger models. The series consists of two models: the BW124DH-40 smooth drum roller and the BW124PDH-40 padfoot roller. An optional leveling blade adds versatility to the series.
The new roller series includes three models: the BW177D-40 and BW177DH-40 smooth drum rollers and the BW177PDH-40 padfoot roller. All three offer a 66-inch working widths and are powered by Tier III compliant Cummins diesel engines.
The 12-ton class rollers are powered by a four-cylinder water-cooled Deutz diesel engine that meets EPA tier III requirements. The series is designed for efficient compaction of granular, mixed and semi-cohesive soils, making it ideal for a variety of site preparation applications, including highway construction and maintenance, airports, streets and subdivisions, parking lots and landfills.
The new BW213-40 Series comprises three models: the BW213D-40 and BW213DH-40 smooth drum rollers and the BW213PDH-40 padfoot roller. The BW213D-40 is powered by a 133-horsepower Deutz water-cooled diesel engine. The BW213DH-40 and BW213PDH-40 are powered by 160-horsepower Cummins diesel engines.BOMAG Distributor
